Crier Creek Camper
TJ "Philly" Connor is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and served as the camp director at the Pine Cove Timbers before moving down to Central Texas. In 2020, TJ served as the Ridge camp director, and in 2021 moved to Crier Creek. After that, he transitioned to the executive director of Central Texas role. TJ and his wife, Chelsea, have three kids.
Marshall "Swole City" Wallace is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He served for three summers on staff at the Timbers before joining Pine Cove's full-time team in 2020. He served for four years as Men's Director at Crier Creek before taking on the role of camp director in 2023. Marshall and his wife Kendall are parents to one son.
Leah "Smack in the Box" graduated from Purdue University after serving for four summers on summer staff at Crier Creek. Leah joined the full-time team and became the Women's Director in 2019.
Alex “Licks” Barnholdt spent time on summer staff at the Timbers, Pine Cove City, and Crier Creek before joining the full-time team in 2023 as the Men’s Director. He is originally from Arlington, Texas. Alex and his wife, Gabby, got married in 2022.

Which is why we are absolutely thrilled with our line up. We can’t wait for you come to camp and get to know them.
The CampLife App makes it easy to keep up with your entire family while at Pine Cove. We tag the whole family in photos, and you can invite friends and family back home to follow along with your week of camp! We’ll also put the speaker audio right in the app, so going back and listening to your favorite sessions will be as easy as app‑le pie!
You can find Crier Creek just off Highway 71, only 70 miles from Houston, 80 miles from Austin, and 120 miles from San Antonio! Our central location to all of these cities makes Crier Creek the best and most accessible camp for families in Central and South Texas.
Vacations should be relaxing and fun, and at Crier Creek, you’ll have the perfect opportunity for both! Your family will have time together to dive into enriching Bible studies, laugh together at meals, and experience high-adrenaline thrills at a variety of activities. But there’s also time for Mom and Dad to get away for some adults-only activities like golf and leisurely trail rides while trained Pine Cove counselors make sure your kids are having a blast (or having a nap!).
